The company is a small but expanding consultancy needing to recruit another senior member. We are based in Nottingham but you do not have to be. The origins of the company are in library automation, capacity planning and general IT skills. Nowadays the company covers electronic library developments, digitisation, document and knowledge management, information management strategy and system audits.
You will be expected to play a major role in carrying out consultancy projects and in bringing in new business. There will be the opportunity to take a stake in the business and to participate in the management of the company.
- The ideal candidate for this position will probably be in their 30's or 40's with a strong library systems or information management + IT background.
- Experience of the system specification, selection and procurement process would be a major bonus.
- You will have project management skills, commercial awareness and a wide knowledge of the information sector.
